India’s National Action Plan on Climate Change and eight climate missions ─ a vital part of India’s response to climate change, and the main avenue through which planned activities on adaptation and mitigation are to take place ─ have been released by the Government of India and are in the process of being implemented. This site provides background documents, independent evaluations for the design of each of the missions based on key parameters, status of implementation, and other relevant developments on India’s climate change policies and actions.
